MARKETING AND PATNERSHIP EXECUTIVE

Tourism Port Douglas Daintree (TPDD) is seeking a Marketing and Partnership Executive (MPE) to join the region’s official tourism marketing organisation.

The MPE will be responsible for growing and maintaining strong industry partnerships and promoting the Douglas region as an aspirational destination through execution of the marketing strategy and associated plans..

Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to;

  • Partnership Development
  • Digital Marketing
  • Destination Marketing
  • General Administration

To be considered for this role you will have;

Qualifications & Experience
• A tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing or Tourism Management is desirable
• Qualification or proven experience in a similar role.
• High competence in Microsoft office suite including outlook, excel and PowerPoint
• High competence in Electronic Direct Mail marketing software

Skills & Attributes

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in an office or tourism business
• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team
• Held in high repute within the tourism industry
• Ability to form and maintain positive, strong working relationships with TPDD members and key stakeholders to facilitate the accomplishment of organisational goals.

ADMINISTRATION ASSSISTANT

Tourism Port Douglas Daintree (TPDD) is seeking a vibrant office administrator to join the region’s official tourism marketing organisation.

Reporting to the Executive Officer, the successful applicant will be an energetic self-starter, who loves attention to detail and can provide exceptional administrative support to the organisation. This role is a part time position of a minimum of 20 hours per week

To be considered for this role, you will have;

  • Outstanding administration skills
  • Strong computer and technology skills including Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of corporate governance and meeting protocol
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience in the tourism industry
  • Passion for the Douglas Shire
