With a career background in luxury brand marketing, Emma has an extensive marketing background across media, PR, events, sponsorship and retail and trade marketing. More recently, and upon her lifestyle relocation to Port Douglas with her family, Emma has worked with Douglas Shire Council as Tourism and Economic Development Officer where she gained an in depth understanding of the tourism industry in the Douglas Shire.

With over a decade of experience in the tourism and hospitality industry, Michela brings a wealth of expertise to her role as Marketing and Partnership Executive at Tourism Port Douglas Daintree. Her career has spanned various key roles, including her most recent position at Pullman Port Douglas Sea Temple Resort and Spa, where she honed her skills in delivering exceptional guest experiences and driving business growth.
Michela is passionate about promoting the unique charm of Port Douglas and the Daintree.
Her hands-on approach and deep understanding of the industry allow her to build strong relationships with stakeholders and create impactful marketing campaigns that showcase the natural beauty and cultural richness of the area.
Maura brings a creative and cross-disciplinary approach to marketing with diverse experience in the creative industries, spanning screen production, digital content, editorial, and the arts. She has contributed to a wide range of projects, including broadcast television, feature films, documentaries, and destination campaigns.
Earlier in her career, Maura worked in luxury goods and tourism across Europe and Africa. Moving to Australia sparked a deep connection with Port Douglas and Far North Queensland, a region she loves and continues to draw inspiration from.
Alongside creative projects, she remains involved in local tourism and marine operations, adding valuable insight to her work.
