Wallaby Creek Festival is a 3 day celebration of music and the arts, nestled in the confluence of the Annan River and Wallaby Creek, 720 Shiptons Flat Road, Helenvale/Rossville surrounded by the beautiful wet tropics rainforest of the far north. The festival has been held in the middle week of the September school holidays each year at Rossville, just south of Cooktown.
The three day program offers original music on two main stages, a third stage and jam/chalkboard stage, with something for everyone. Poets Breakfasts and a packed workshops schedule, Circus, Dance, Roving street theatre, a complete Children’s Festival, delicious food stalls, healing spaces & market stalls and croc free swimming in the Wallaby Creek and the Annan River, complement the entertainment. Camping is included in the three day festival with bush showers and toilets.
