Triple-R 1 Day MTB Race

  11 August 2019 6:15 AM - 5:30 PM

The Triple-R, formerly known as RRR, is the oldest point-to-point mountain bike event in Australia, turning 29 this year!

Taking place on Sunday 11th August - which coincides with the final day of the 4 day Reef to Reef MTB Race - riders can choose the 55km Endurance, or the 35km Classic race option.

Challenge yourself on a combination of fire trails, bush tracks, single trail and beach including sections on private property, traversing through cattle country before dropping down into lush rainforest and finally a spin along the beach. Both race distances start at Wetherby Station, just outside Mt Molloy, include a descent of the infamous Bump Track and finish with a dash along the stunning Four Mile Beach in Port Douglas.

The day ends with a well deserved drink at the Reef to Reef and Triple-R after party at Hemingway's Brewery at the Crystalbrook Marina in Port Douglas.

Thumbs up to the crew at Douglas Shire for their support of Triple-R!
